| Hi Everyone ! Wow! It has been a long time since I updated you all. So much has happend. I have been going to a new Medical Missionary school in TN. God is so good, I know it was his will for me to come here. It has been a tremendous blessing to me.
For our group worship we have been reading from 5 Testimonies. If you haven't read that book yet, I highly recomend it.
Here is a little of what we read this morning, this really spoke to me:
"We need to trust Jesus daily, hourly. He has promised that as our day is, our strength shall be. By His grace we may bear all the burdens of the present and perform it's duties. But many are weighed down by the anticipation of future troubles. They are constantly seeking to bring tomorrow's burdens into today. Thus a large share of all their burdens are imaginary. For these, Jesus has made no provision. He promises grace only for the day. He bids us not to burden ourselves with the cares and troubles of tomorrow; "for suffiecient unto the day is the evil thereof."
"The habit of brooding over anticipated evils is unwise and unchristian. In thus doing we fail to enjoy the blessings and to improve the opportunities of the present. The Lord requires us to perform the duties of the day and to endure it's trials. We are today to watch that we do not offend in word or deed. We must today praise and honor God. By the excercise of living faith today we are to conquer the enemy. We must today seek God and be determined that we will not rest satisfied without His presence. We should watch and work and pray as though this were the last day that would be granted us. How intensly earnest then, would be our life. How closely would we follow Jesus in all our words and deeds." 5 Testimonies pg. 200
This was really encouraging to me, so often I worry about the future, like when it comes to marriage. I think "am I ever going to get married?, Is there even such thing as that "special person" out there for me?" But I don't need to worry about my future, I can put it into God's hands and makesure that TODAY my life is right with God. Am I getting rid of self? If I were to die tomorrow would I be ready?
Well, there is so much more to tell but I must go. Till next time. God Bless. Your friend, Siobhan

| Hi Everyone!
Did you have a wonderful Sabbath? I did.
The sermon at church today was very good, straight from the Bible without being water down, sadly we haven't heard a sermon like that at our local church for a long time. It was about getting sin out of our lives. Many people said that they were blessed by it.
After fellowship dinner Louis and the Collars and some young friends that we hadn't seen in a long time came over and visited and after sundown James, the 2 kids, Farrah and I played some games and then Farrah and I went with the Collars over to Louis' house and had his famous smoothies and watched a David Gates DVD " Extreme Faith, The Brazil Project", it was really good, it has helped Farrah and I in stepping out in faith. :)
I think I spoke a little too soon about the going on a mission trip to Bolivia or Peru, still planning on going down there sometime Lord willing just not that soon, I could still possibly go but something else has come up that happens to be going on at the same time as all the mission trips that I have heard about, that I might be doing. More about it when I really know for sure. I talked to my Bolivian friend Raquel not to long ago and she has so many Adventist family and friends in Bolivia that she can get a hold of for me. So please keep that in your prayers.
Please keep praying for GYC.
Check out my quiz below and take it! (In my last blog). I think I might like to say a few things but I can't tilll you take it!!
Well, that all for now folks! God bless. SN | | |
| ROFL! Today I took Kaylyns quiz and I was so sure that I was going to only get two right if I was lucky! But I got all but 3 right! Kaylyn is my sister's best friend and I hardly know her, I haven't met her yet but when I was taking the quiz I was just guessing and like when she asked where she was born or something like that I remember Farrah metioning long before the quiz was thought of this place so I chose it and I was right! Farrah talks to her a lot and that is how I have gotten to know her.
Here is a quiz I made. See how much you know about me!

Please pray that we will be able to go to GYC, we aren't going unless the Lord opens the door for us by Dec. 11. I am really looking forward to going there.
I am going to either Peru or Bolivia next year for a mission trip for a month!! I can't wait!! I have always wanted to go to S. America. I will tell you more when I learn more and when I'm not so tired, right now I shall go hit the hay early.
